Authorities have confirmed that 28 survivors, including two children, have been hospitalized after an Azerbaijan Airlines plane crashed near Aktau, Kazakhstan.

It has been reported that 28 passengers of which 2 were children have been taken to different hospitals after the Azerbaijan Airlines plane crashed few kilometers from Aktau, Kazakhstan.
The Embraer 190, which was identified as flight J2-8243, was flying from Azerbaijan to Russia when it developed a problem that forced it to make an emergency landing about 3 kilometers (1.8 miles) from Aktau. The plane was had 62 people on board and five personnel on board during the occurrence of the incident.
Health officials report that four people have been found dead at the scene; rescuers are still looking for the rest of the survivors. In total, 150 emergency personnel responded to the scene, fire crews were able to extinguish the fire that occurred as a result.
Initial investigations have suggested that the aircraft had asked for authorization to land at a different airport, because of the dense fog in Grozny. Investigators think the pilot carried out the manoeuvre after the aircraft was possibly hit by a bird.
Daily passengers comprised citizens of the Azerbaijan, Russian, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan republics were passengers. As for the situation, in Kazakhstan, a governmental commission was set up regarding the cause of the crash. The officials are also trying arranging proper help for the families of the victims and survivors to face this tough situation.
The attack forced Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to suddenly leave Russia middle of the summit which took place in Saint Petersburg. In his turn, Russian President Vladimir Putin offered condolences to President Aliyev and the whole people of Azerbaijan.
‘Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that people in Russia express condolences to those who lost their relatives in the fatal crash and wishes quick recovery to the injured.’
Mr Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechen Republic, also complained and pointed out that some of the children continue to be in a very bad state. He also noted that prayers and support goes to those people who are struggling to heals.
