Delhi chief minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal has accused the BJP of plotting against his government schemes with the help of Congress party. Responding to this on Saturday, wrote Kejriwal said that the BJP had conspired and compelled the Congress to send a complaint to the L.G, V.K.Saxena against AAP’s ‘Mahila Samman’ scheme.

“People of BJP is giving money in the open but nobody questions that?” They just want to bring all the free schemes we give to the people to a halt. They can do whatever they want to—Mahila samman, Sanjeevani schemes we will go ahead implemented,” Kejriwal said this addressing the gathering.
Dikshit’s Allegations : Sandeep Dikshit has alleged that the AAP government has cheated Delhi’s women through the ‘Mahila Samman’ scheme which guarantees ₹2,100 to women. In response, the Delhi government’s Women and Child Development and Health departments put out public advisories to people not to forward their details for “non-existent” schemes. The notices also stated that these departments do not represent any of the so called schemes of the AAP which promised scholarships for women and free treatment to elderly people. They advised the citizens that any person, any organization, any political structure obtaining forms of registration or other details in the name of these schemes is operating fraudulently and unauthorized. Political Backlash The issue is an explosive one that has turned political in Delhi. His government has justified its welfare measures as unprecedented and necessary to raise the living standards of socially risky groups in Delhi. However, the main disgruntled has been the opposition parties who have questioned the legitimacy of most of these programs. This raises ongoing conflict between AAP and its political rivals regarding service delivery of public good in Delhi. However, all the criticism, Kejriwal promised to keep on with the policies that sought to empower women as well as elderly people.
